Student Quality Assurance Cell (SQAC)

The IQAC of St. Xavier’s College, Simdega established the Student Quality Assurance Cell (SQAC) on Sept. 19, 2025. The Student Quality Assurance Cell (SQAC) comprises one student representative from each class, aiming to foster student engagement in quality related matters. It facilitates validation and feedback systems, including input from alumni, and coordinates departmental Alumni Meets. On a monthly basis, the SQAC reviews course curricula and lesson plans for appropriateness and compliance, actively participates in continuous internal assessments, and reports findings to the College Quality Assurance Cell (CQAC). This body serves as a vital link between students and quality-related decisions and communications regarding courses/programmes. Members are expected to attend all meetings organized by the IQAC to ensure student involvement in quality assurance processes.

Student Resource Centre (SRC)

A student resource centre provides organized learning materials, support services, and a communal space to help students achieve their educational goals, access resources, and develop self-learning skills. These centres can include libraries, technology access, and academic support to meet the needs of both students and educators.

SRC / SQAC Committee

The IQAC of St. Xavier’s College, Simdega established the Students Resource Centre (SRC) on Sept. 19, 2025. All the faculty members under the guidance of their HoDs nominated the students’ representative for the core committee formation to execute the plans. The University guidelines Rf. NO. RU/R/SRC/7925/2025, dated: 08/09/2025 were presented and explained. The committee also was happy to approve Mr. Sani Santosh (Assistant Professor), as Prof. In charge of SRC.
