E-Kalyan Scholarship
The E-Kalyan Scholarship is a Jharkhand government welfare initiative providing pre-matric and post-matric financial aid to SC, ST, and BC students. Managed by the Welfare Department, it supports education through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to reduce dropout rates for students.
The purpose of e-Kalyan (Jharkhand and Bihar) is to provide a transparent, efficient online platform for disbursing scholarships and welfare benefits, primarily to students from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), ensuring they receive financial aid for education (pre-matric and post-matric) and promoting socio-economic upliftment. It aims to remove financial barriers to education, reduce dropout rates, and deliver government welfare schemes directly to students.
